DAFNES PLOT FOR SALE, WITHIN SETTLEMENT, SLOPING, WITH VIEW. The plot is located very close to the central square of the village, in which every year, usually the first ten days of July, the famous Dafni Wine Festival takes place. In the village we meet the holy temples of Agia Zoni, a temple recently renovated and restored by the Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities of Heraklion. According to glory, near the church of the Agia Zoni had grown a laurel (Dafni) and from it, the village received the name Dafnes. However, this existed before the temple was built.
